Yellow-Amber Illusions
Did you do a double take when you first looked at this glass plate? That’s kind of the point. The lines of color are continuous and parallel as they warp in and out through the plate. It is not an illusion, it just looks like one and it will everyone wondering just how it was done. For added effect, the darker line is made from transparent glass that allows you to see through the plate.
The plate is made on a single sheet of clear glass. Yellow and transparent amber strings of glass are laid out and the fused in a way that creates the expansions and contractions of the strings. It is fused at a high temperature to give it a smooth and glossy finish.

Use votive or electric votive candles only. Not for use with a wax candle. Pooling hot wax could cause the glass to break.
